15 Questions To Get To Know More About Our Attending Authors
1. What’s your favorite candy/snack/food while writing?
Chocolate. Hershey kisses to be exact. If I’m not in the candy mindset, I’ll nibble on some trail mix.
2. Who is your favorite music artist?
Pink. I like a lot of the messages she puts out there with her music.
3. If you could time travel, where would you go?
I’m tempted to say somewhere really cool in the 1500’s. I’ve always been fascinated by knights, Lords, and all those Highland Scots…except, they didn’t have flushing toilets, so that’s out. And, I’m not so confident to think I could actually stop one of the horrifying events in history, so I’m going to have to say the future. Not that far, maybe 20 years- just to be sure my kids turn out decent. Then I could sleep better at night.
4. What do you like to do on a rainy day?
If I’m not working on a project, and I have some free time I grab a big cup of coffee and a book. Unless the husband has declared it a movie marathon day. In that case, we will watch a series of movies. Last weekend, it was the Harry Potter series, but I think we only got through 3 of the movies.
5. What is your pet peeve(s)?
Dishonesty of all forms. There is a difference between being kind and being fake. I don’t like fake.
6. When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
I have a horrible habit of eating my stress. So, on bad day, I reach for comfort food.
7. If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name?
Mackenzie. I have always loved that name. I tried to give it to both my daughters, but was vetoed both times.
8. What’s your biggest screw up in the kitchen?
Pancakes. I can NOT make pancakes. They are either burnt, rubbery, or undercooked.
9. Would you rather bungee jump or skydive?
I’d rather feel the earth beneath my feet, thank you very much. But given the right incentive, I think I’d skydive. Just so long as a friend was there to give me that push should I try to chicken out.
10. What is your favorite type of Hero? Heroine?
Alpha hero- every single time, no exceptions. I love a bossy man.
Strong heroine. A woman who knows what she wants, knows how to get it, and gets stronger with her man by her side without losing herself. (That’s not too much to ask, right?)
11. What is your favorite movie?
I don’t think I can answer this; there are so many. Depending on my mood: Arsenic and Lace, Story of Us, or if I’m in a brainy mood anything sci-fi. I’m really bad at having a favorite anything…because it changes with the wind!
12. Who is your celebrity crush?
Derrick Pierce. He’s an adult entertainer, so I’m saying he fits this category. And he’s probably nothing like he is on screen, but that’s fine. It’s my crush.
13. What is your biggest phobia?
Being stuck somewhere with no way out. Not just elevators, like being in the middle of a crowd, or sitting in the middle seat in a long row of seats at the theater.
14. What word or words do you not like to read in a book?
I don’t like reading about women’s juices running down their thighs. It just doesn’t seem sexy to me.
And spunk. I don’t like reading “spunk” when referring to ejaculation.
15. What is one thing about you that would surprise us?
I wish I was more interesting. It always seems to surprise people that I’ve been with my husband since I was 16. We married when I was 19, but it wasn’t until I was close to 21 that I learned BDSM was a real thing and not just some twisted fantasy in my head. I learned about it while playing an online game “The Realm” and my marriage hasn’t been the same since.
1. What is your favorite sex toy?
Heavy Floggers. The thicker the better.
2. Who is your daddy?
My hubby, but shhhhh don’t tell him. He’s really not into the term Daddy Dom and even though he tweaks my nose, tucks me into bed, and does other “daddy dom” type things. He maintains it’s just what he does because he likes it. And so do I, so I’m not pushing it!
