Do I need to be a certain age?
During the signing sessions it is 18 and older. Since this is an adult event, we would appreciate not having any children present, but if you have no choice but to bring your child due to circumstances you cannot control, we will not refuse you or your child, however your child must be supervised at all times. We are not responsible for injuries or damages caused by children.
For the dinner/ball, you must be 21+, as we will be catering alcohol. That means if you are buying VIP tickets, you must be 21 or older. An ID will be requested at check in and registration. Children are not allowed at the dinner/ball
Will I be able to get a refund or upgrade my ticket?
Once tickets have been paid for, they are non-refundable. However, you can transfer the ticket to someone else and put it under their name. If that is the case, please contact us by email with your information and theirs.
You cannot upgrade your ticket, you would have to buy a new ticket. Example: you bought a General Admission ticket but would like a VIP ticket, you would have to buy a VIP ticket, then you can keep, sell or give your General Admission ticket to someone else.
How can I attend this event as a signing author?

Do I have to dress up?
For the signing, not at all! Wear something comfortable.
For the dinner/ball, yes! This part of the event is formal and classy, so dressing up for the Dark & Seductive Dinner & Masquerade Ball is required. We aren’t demanding that you wear your highest heels or any heels at all. We are simply asking no jeans, T-shirts, tennis shoes, or anything too casual at the dinner. Sandals, boots, and heels are okay.
If I have a friend going too, am I allowed to sit with them during dinner?
Seating will be assigned to everyone by table number. We will do our best to accommodate you beforehand so that you may sit with your friends, but we cannot make any guarantees.
What happens if I lose something or something of mine is stolen?
While this is unfortunate, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
What happens if I am injured?
We will try to guide you in the right direction for assistance but we are not liable or responsible for any injuries.
Will authors have pre-orders?
Some do and some do not. We will update this once we have more details.
What hotel is the event taking place at?
The event will take place at The Westin Charlotte Hotel.
What happens if I have an issue with the hotel?
Please see the front desk or a hotel manager. We are not liable or responsible for any issues with the hotel.
Is there a room discount?
We are working on this with the hotel and will let you know as soon as possible.
Is there hotel parking?
Yes, we are also working to see if there will be a discount for this service.
